Gamla Stan Photoshoot in Stockholm - Ersie and Dave

COUPLES PHOTOSHOOT IN GAMLA STAN, STOCKHOLM

I met Ersie and Dave for a winter couples photoshoot in Stockholm's charming Gamla Stan. The Christmas spirit was in full swing, with festive decorations and Christmas stars adorning the windows. The colourful houses added some joy to the otherwise overcast winter days in Stockholm.

 

Our first stop was the quieter streets of Gamla Stan, away from the bustling touristy parts of the old town. The winter ambiance added an enchanting touch as we strolled along its narrow lanes. Afterwards, we decided to venture the opposing island to capture the snowy waterscape, with Gamla Stan and the Royal Palace in the background. You could even see the Christmas tree from there. 

 

Stockholm in winter tends to be quite dark, it was fortunate that we scheduled the shoot for midday and we got some snow.

We passed through the Christmas market that happens on Stortorget square, the bustling heart of Gamla Stan. Ersie and Dave's portraits amidst the Christmas stalls and festively decorated window shops captured the holiday season perfectly. Finally, we concluded our photoshoot on Riddarholmen. In our 2-hour photoshoot, we not only visited the best photography spots in Stockholm but also it served as a guided tour.
