Stockholm City Hall Intimate Wedding in Blooming April

Felicia and Joakim got married at Stockholm City Hall on a beautiful day in April, just as the flowers were blooming and the trees were filling with fresh green leaves. The sun was shining that Saturday, and the bright spring light created a perfect colours for their day.
As a family of five, it was important for them to include time for family portraits before the ceremony. It was a lovely, moment together before everything began. While they said they weren’t used to being in front of the camera, Felicia confidently took the lead and the emotions after the ceremony opened up the couple.
After the ceremony, more guests were waiting outside to celebrate. They had planned a coordinated surprise with soap bubbles and balloons, which filled the courtyard laughter.
As a Stockholm City Hall photographer I try to bring new perspective with every shoot. This time we went to the blooming flower patch before the couple set off for further celebrations.
